Enrolment Process

Thank you for considering the Australian International Academy (AIA) for your child’s education.

We welcome students from Kindergarten to Year 12 and are committed to making your enrolment journey clear and supportive.

Whether you’re enrolling for the early years or transferring in from another school, here’s how to get started:

Start your child’s enrolment journey by completing our Registration Form.

Once we receive your form, our Enrolments Team will contact you directly to:

  • Confirm your submission
  • Request any supporting documents
  • Arrange payment of the $110 non-refundable registration fee ($150 for all new enrolment registrations submitted on or after 1 January 2026 )

Once your online registration is received and reviewed, your child’s name will be added to our Registration Waiting List.

Families on the list will be contacted by our Registrar when a place becomes available. Placement offers are made based on the order of registration, available year level spots, and school readiness requirements.

Note for Kindergarten Applicants:
All prospective Kindergarten students must be currently attending a preschool program at the time of application.

Once all documents and the registration fee are received, our team will schedule an interview. Both parents/guardians must attend the interview with the child.

  • Kindergarten: Includes discussion of preschool readiness and completed checklist.
  • Years 1–12: Includes academic review. For Strathfield applicants, an entrance exam in literacy and numeracy may be required.

A student profile for the previous two semesters will be required including copies of the following:

  • Two Previous Semester Reports
  • NAPLAN test results

Please note: An interview does not guarantee a place. All applications are reviewed by the Principal and school leadership.

If your application is successful, you will receive a Letter of Offer. To confirm your child’s place, you will need to:

  • Sign and return the Acceptance Letter
  • Complete all enrolment documentation
  • Pay the enrolment bond and associated fees

Once your enrolment is finalised, we’ll send a Welcome Email with everything you need for a smooth start:

  • Term dates & school calendar
  • Uniform and book list details
  • Login details for TASS Parent Lounge and the Audiri App
  • Before and After School Care information
  • Key policies and parent information

We’ll also notify our internal teams to prepare for your child’s arrival (including IT setup, diary distribution, and class allocation).
